The students will then develop a training plan and/or recommendations on how to overcome this challenge which you will receive at the end of November/beginning of December.


The Community Partner will receive the final recommendations/paper and/or presentation.

Project Examples

Working in small teams, our 3rd & 4th year HR students will create and deliver a custom professional skill development recommendation and/or workshop for your organization on your specific personnel challenges.


Design a training and development plan which includes:

      1) A needs assessment to determine learning and development objectives and requirements and consists of: (a) an organizational analysis, (b) a task analysis, and (c) a person analysis of the trainee


    2) Design a training and development program including its delivery. This includes: a)Creating training objectives, b) Determining the training content c) Determining the training Methods and d) Determining the learning principles.


    3) Present a plan to evaluate the training. This includes: a) Determining the criteria to be evaluated and b) Determining how to evaluate the design. 

Community Partners must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Will a mentor be able to commit to regularly meeting with student(s) and providing input and feedback for the duration of the project?
