Student goals and capabilities

Does your organization have a psychology research or clinical counselling area in which you need the support of psychology students? Bring on our students from the University of Winnipeg's Psychology Department to be your virtual interns!

Our students have specialized in: physiological psychology, perception, learning, cognition, developmental psychology, personality, social psychology, and abnormal psychology.

Students in this program have emerged with a sound understanding of the richness and complexity of human beings, with a broad range of competencies (e.g., spoken and written communication skills, critical thinking, quantitative abilities), and with an appreciation of how people can be understood scientifically.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, these placements may largely occur virtually.
