Dear Business Owners,


Drew University invites you to engage in an exciting collaboration opportunity with our Digital Video course. Partner with our students in exploring the boundless realms of digital video production, combining technical expertise with creative narrative approaches.


In this program, students will explore the technical aspects of video cameras, nonlinear editing, and the manipulation of time, space, and sound. They will get hands-on experience to craft sequential, narrative, and experimental works while exploring both formal and conceptual video-making elements.

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 

  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples

Requirements

Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Demonstrating the technical ability in the use of digital video including camera settings, video editing in Adobe Premiere, audio recording and audio editing in Adobe Premiere.
  • Conceptualizing, producing, and post-producing beginning level video art projects.
