We’re looking for a creative student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement. We want you to execute the best marketing strategy in order to develop social media content to increase engagement.
Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:
- Content Calendar Curation: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
- Social Media Management: Overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date
- Content Development: Utilizing digital marketing tools to create content.
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
- Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select and adapt the current process to fit client needs.
- Need more likes and / or follow of targeted customers
Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.
About the Community Partner
Irresistible Cakes, or iCakes, is the GTA’s oldest and premium quality special event cake manufacturer. We provide wedding cakes, bridal cakes, baby shower cakes, birthday cakes, baptism cakes, communion cakes, confirmation cakes, engagement cakes, corporate cakes, Christmas cakes and more.
All of our products are nut-free, lactose-free, trans-fat-free, and free from all animal-derived products (except for egg), including gelatin and meat. We also provide eggless cakes, which taste exactly like our regular cakes!
