Details

Our store is currently fitted to appeal to both a wholesale customer base and a retail customer base. We'd like input and a course of action to turn the whole store into a retail-focused experience. We would like students with an interest in merchandising to develop a system, which utilizes statistical analysis, customer feedback, anecdotal evidence, and optimization techniques to generate the most profitable layout for our store.

Deliverables

The final deliverables should take the form of:

  • A floorplan of changes to make
  • Reason for changes
  • A 30-minute presentation and store walkthrough with the management team
Mentorship

We will provide all of the data and customer feedback we've acquired, and have an initial meeting (store walkthrough in-person, or video walkthrough for virtual) to set you on the right path. The management team will be available throughout the process to answer questions and provide feedback.

Stonebridge Imports was established in 2002 to share the love and knowledge of gemstones, rocks, and minerals with Canadians and beyond. We maintain a large inventory of precious gemstones, rocks, and minerals that are perfect for jewelry making, home décor, and healing. Stonebridge sells via B2B to stores, schools, and makers in the industry.

We also have a retail store; The Rock Space, located on Victoria Street in Kitchener, ON. There, we focus on B2C, and fostering the growing crystal community. By leveraging youth and social media, we've seen massive success through the renaissance of crystals, witchcraft, and herbalism.
