SilverServers has been providing companies all over the world with tech solutions for over 20 years. Originally we focused mostly on website hosting, website design and development, and custom web applications. Moving forward to today our team has expanded into developing web based software solutions, data centre operations, custom electronics design and production, as well as IoT solutions.

The project we're looking for help with today is relating to our IoT and web-based software solutions. Our team has developed an electronic sensor system that is used to monitor and control the data centre facility that we operate. Our primary sensors detect critical temperature, humidity and pressure data from inside and outside of our data centre facility, and using this data we are able to detect rising issues with critical infrastructure, alert key staff, and take pro-active measures to ensure the safe and reliable operations for our customers. Our sensor data is recorded and processed by our servers which then provide real-time display of the data along with charts, maps, alerts and other analytics. What we need help with is detailed market research to help us determine:

• what markets our solution may be applicable to
• what additional features may be needed to take our solution to these markets
• what volume and what price these markets will pay for our solution
• what competitors exist and how they compare to our solution
• what advantages / disadvantages to we have vs our competitors
• what barriers to entry may exist for these markets
• what we need to do to reach these markets
• what we need to know that we do not yet know

Once we have an understanding of the markets we are interested in, we would also like some help on developing a 'go to market' plan. This plan should include key objectives and milestones that our team will be able use to guide us to inject our IoT solutions into the appropriate markets.
