Spinning Forward seeks two university students to create a brand book and a social media content calendar. This is an opportunity to develop practical skills in branding and digital marketing while supporting an active organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research Spinning Forward’s brand and audience.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to define brand identity and messaging.
  • Draft the brand book covering narrative and visual identity.
  • Plan and organize a social media content calendar.
  • Develop and schedule consistent social media content promoting events and brand messages.
  • Integrate brand identity into marketing materials and social media strategies.


Skills

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Basic branding knowledge.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and meet deadlines.

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


Deliverables

  • Create a Well-Structured and Complete Draft of Spinning Forward’s Brand Book: Develop a brand book that includes core brand values, tone of voice, visual guidelines, and messaging framework.
  • Assist in Creating a Social Media Content Calendar: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and organize a content calendar that schedules posts and campaigns for upcoming events and ongoing brand promotion.
  • Create Consistent Social Media Content: Develop and publish a set of social media posts and stories that promote Spinning Forward’s content and events, demonstrating engagement and brand alignment.
