Data Analysis - Interpret MVP Data
I run Troop (HiTroop.com), a social enterprise and 'do good' tech platform. Neighbours and businesses discover tangible needs from local charities/nonprofits (e.g. refugee mom needs a stroller). Through our technology, we make fulfillment super easy. Each need is small, tangible and completable so everyone can have an impact. We are 12 months into testing our MVP with 500 neighbours signed up to our service. I'm looking for an intern to review our data and pull out key user insights, i.e. conversion rate, average time between signup to conversion, average contribution rate, life time value, etc.

Make a Difference - Virtual Marketing Internship Opportunity
We need the support and creative flair of 1-2 virtual interns or a team to help us launch our 'tech-for-good' solution to support local charities and build generosity in communities. The primary focus for the student will be: Marketing Campaign and Promotion - The holidays are right around the corner. This is our time to shine as a tech tool that helps caring neighbours and business release their goodness into their community. Lots of charities/nonprofits and the members they support, will need more help this year than ever before, and Troop is ready to step up. We're looking for help in developing an integrated marketing campaign to tell more neighbours and businesses in the GTA about Troop and our platform to discovery and fulfill local needs. We want more people to sign up to receive Troop need notifications and more business to sign up for our Local Impact programs. This work includes campaign strategy and development, creative concept and design, social media strategy, content creation, website integration, email communications - all that fun stuff! Public Relations - How do we share the great stuff we're doing with the world? (okay, maybe not the whole world, but Toronto for sure!). We need a PR strategy, including all collateral (press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories). Our goal at the end of this experience is: Campaign Strategy - For the student(s) to help us develop a promotional campaign that will cut through the clutter of Giving Tuesday and the busy charity season to increase awareness of what we do and who we are so more neighbours and businesses will sign up. Social Media / Content Strategy and Development - with a series of social media posts, blog content and email content, this creative campaign should be set to launch by Nov 25th and run through to Dec 11th. The communications should help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content. Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. Other duties the student may complete could include : Measure and report on performance of the marketing campaign using tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, Google Sheets, and Excel Identify and outreach to social media influencers who can help spread the word. We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: Company Slack, Trello and Email Primary contact : Kelly Emery, Founder, Troop
