Founder and Developer
SKTutors
May 2025 - Current

Founded and independently developed SKTutors, a website which is an online tutoring platform connecting students with tutors across Saskatchewan. I started from the ground up to design a modern, user-focussed website using WordPress to give a platform to connect tutors, students, and parents. In addition to the technical development, I wrote clear, informative content across the site to communicate the platform’s mission, services, and value to users.

Through this project, I did the designing, developing, and launching of a fully functional tutoring system using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I implemented role-based user accounts for students, tutors, and admins, allowing secure access control and personalized dashboards. I integrated appointment booking, payment tracking, and automated email systems using tools like WP Data Access.
This was a highly technical project.
