Athlete Agency Internship

As an innovative, cooperative athlete agency, ASHR MGMT is dedicated to delivering substantial services through extensive networking and use of cutting-edge technology, so that athletes of all levels and backgrounds can benefit from their athletic abilities. ASHR MGMT will offer services in the following three areas: i) Recruitment Advising; ii) Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Monetization; and iii) Professional Representation. The main goal for this project is to provide assistance and support to an athlete agent, providing excellent services to athlete clients, and their families, while prospecting for future clients.

Assessing NIL Strength of Collegiate Athletes

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ASHR Group Ltd. operates an athlete representation firm under the trade name ASHR MGMT (pronounced "asher management"). One of the services ASHR offers is assisting NCAA athletes with monetizing their Name, Image and Likeness, which was recently allowed by the NCAA on July 1, 2021. This project will focus on creating an analytical framework for determining the strength of a collegiate athletes' NIL and their earning potential. An example of this concept can be seen at www.on3.com. This site provides this information for Men's Basketball (MBB) and Football (MFB) athletes in the NCAA, and upcoming prospects. This project stems from the allowance of NIL monetization in the NCAA. KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Examining athletes in sports outside of MBB and MFB and determine how to accurately measure their earning potential through NIL activities. IDEAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Market Researchers in the following subject areas: Marketing Sponsorships/Partnerships Business Development Sport Management Business Analytics FINAL DELIVERABLES: Report and/or presentation, including the following: formula or means of calculating the athlete's NIL value detailed explanation for use and/or further extrapolation 10 examples using real student athletes from sports other than MBB and MFB

ASHR Group Ltd. gives athletes in any stage of their career support in a wide variety of services. Through our 4 "pillars" (Media, Wellness Centre, MGMT, and Sport Business Academy), ASHR Group Ltd. uses the whole person approach when assisting our athletes. This project will focus on the operations of the overall business within the sport industry. Students will complete a detailed review of the business and its pillars. After having grasped the key components and values of the business, the students will then conduct a market analysis of the business while also analyzing its competitors.

Human Resources Improvement Internship

ASHR Group Ltd. gives athletes in any stage of their career support in a wide variety of services. Through our 4 "pillars" (Media, Wellness Centre, MGMT, and Sport Business Academy), ASHR Group Ltd. uses the whole person approach when assisting our athletes. This project will focus on the operations of the overall business within the sport industry. Students will complete a detailed review of the business' Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices. After review, students will make 5-7 actionable recommendations and explain their outcomes if implemented. Recommendations could include, but are not limited to, additions, subtractions or alterations of current HR policies. All recommendations must be compliant with relevant provincial and federal legislation.
